About this position:

The Human Resources Department (HRD) seeks an innovative and goal-oriented professional with experience in corporate communications and social media to implement the IDB Group's employer brand and develop and execute HR Communications. The consultant will report to the HR Communications Team Lead.

The Policy and Strategic Support Unit (PSU) is a catalyst with other areas within the Department to drive value through employee-centric solutions. This is done by aligning our communications, services, processes, policies, and supporting our employees through challenging times.

What you'll do:

· Support the implementation of the employer brand plan for the IDB and IDB Invest to position the Group as a great workplace.

· Develop and deploy internal, external, and change management communications strategies and plans for HR initiatives

· Draft and edit HRD's official communications.

· Support the Department with talent marketing initiatives using social media and other innovative strategies to better target the people we want to reach.

· In partnership with HR subject matter experts, keep the HRD website and IDB Jobs website current.

What you'll need:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Journalism, HR management, organizational design, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role. Master’s degree is a plus.

· Experience: At least 4 years of progressive experience in corporate communications and social media.

· Languages: Proficiency in English is required, and additional knowledge of Spanish is preferred.

Requirements:

· Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.

· Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

Type of contract and duration:

· Type of contract: International Consultant Full-Time.

· Length of contract: 24 months.

· Work Location: On-site.
