5 Steps to get a job in the United Nations

Mission and objectivesYouth Co:Lab positions young people front and center in order to solve the regionโ€™s most pressing challenges. Co-created in 2017 by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Citi Foundation, Youth Co:Lab aims to establish a common agenda for countries in the Asia-Pacific region to empower and invest in youth so that they can accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through leadership, social innovation and entrepreneurship.

ContextThe Youth Co:Lab Springboard Programme is an incubation process to leave no one behind on entrepreneurship education. Through our collaboration with industry experts, alumni founders and investment partners, we curate practical curriculums to support social enterprises to best showcase their impact, and obtain mentorships and opportunities to advance their SDG solutions.

Task DescriptionWe are looking for a creative, experienced, and motivated Online Volunteer to support Misa Pasa, a Nepalese social enterprise under the Youth Co:Lab's portfolio, in creating new designs for their flagship products - PAL Journals and Kindness Cards, in order to increase visibility and make the products more accessible. Misa Pasa is a women-led business whose name translates to \"Girl Friends\" in Newari and is dedicated to fostering self-care, self-growth and promote mindfulness and holistic wellness. The Online Volunteer will directly work with Misa Pasa (under the supervision of UNDP Youth Co:Lab's team) to create two designs for the Journal and Kindness Card respectively during the assignment. Misa Pasa will provide the Online Volunteer with necessary organizational information and previous design materials needed to complete the assignment.
