ContextAssignment Context These reports are part of FAO Iraqโs comprehensive efforts to strengthen climate resilience, promote gender-responsive adaptation, and reduce disaster risks in agriculture. The designed reports will be shared with key stakeholders, including government officials, donors, and development partners, to inform decision-making, mobilize resources, and support evidence-based programming. The work of the Online Volunteers will directly contribute to advancing FAO Iraqโs mission of supporting sustainable rural livelihoods and climate-smart agriculture in one of the worldโs most climate-vulnerable regions.
Task DescriptionDesign Reports (78,76 and 32 pages) We are seeking 3 Online Volunteer who, under the guidance of the International Communications Specialist and in close collaboration with the communications team, will support us by producing the graphic design for three reports. Specifically, the Online Volunteer are expected to: Collect information on the document's background, including target audience, design style, and branding guidelines. Create draft designs based on requirements and discuss them with the focal point/communications team. Develop the designs according to agreed-upon requirements. Deliver the final original designs files (Adobe Illustrator / Adobe InDesign) in addition to the final PDF The designs/layout should follow FAO's corporate design guidelines, including FAOSTYLE and the FAO Visual Identity Guidelines, which will be shared with the Online Volunteer in advance. The Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to build connections with the communications team at FAO Iraq and learn about how graphic design supports climate adaptation efforts and women's empowerment.
