Mission and objectivesThe Joint Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Fund is an innovative instrument to incentivize the transformative policy shifts and stimulate the strategic investments required to get the world back on track to meet the SDGs. The UN Secretary-General sees the Joint SDG Fund as a key part of the reform of the UNโs development work by providing the โmuscleโ for a new generation of Resident Coordinators (RCs) and UN Country Teams (UNCTs) to really accelerate SDG implementation. The Fund Secretariat is hosted by the UN Development Coordination Office (DCO) with the Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office (MPTF-O) serving as the Administrative Agent.
ContextThe Joint SDG Fund is seeking online volunteers to support graphic designs and create 16 illustrations for the the 2024 Annual Report. The Annual Report provides information about joint programming across the United Nations Development Reform.
Task DescriptionSupporting the design of the 2024 Joint SDG Fund Annual Report consists of: - Create 16 Infographics such as charts, graphs, and visual elements to present financial and operational data clearly that will be included into a 30 page report. - Delivering formats optimized for both printing and digital use. The volunteer should deliver high-quality, publication-ready graphics within the agreed timeline, ensuring that the illustrations align with the guidelines' visual identity and messaging while maintaining consistency across all materials. Additionally, the volunteer is expected to provide two rounds of revisions for each designed material based on feedback, ensuring that the final product meets the required standards.
