Reporting to the Managing Director of CARE Impact Partners (โ€œCIPโ€), the Global Sustainability Principal will work collaboratively across CIP and CARE Corporate Partnerships to develop an ESG offering for corporate teams.
Your expertise will be instrumental in helping companies navigate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) challenges, optimize resource usage, and drive positive social impact. This role requires a deep understanding of sustainability principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to provide strategic guidance to diverse stakeholders.
You will conduct thorough assessments of clients' environmental and social impacts across their value chain. You will provide guidance to clients on integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into their overall business strategy.

Qualifications:

Masterโ€™s Degree in Business, International relations or public policy or related field 10-15 years of Senior Level experience in international devleopment and/or sustainability sector Ability to work across a variety of stakeholders including public institutions and private corporations Strong business development skills with experience leading a sustainable business practice Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex sustainability challenges and develop practical solutions Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, frameworks, and best practices, including ESG considerations Detail oriented self-motivated individual who can inflence across a diverse stakeholder group Proven experience in corporate sustainability consulting, or related role
