What we are looking for:
NRC is seeking a seasoned Global Corporate Relations Adviser to manage a portfolio of private sector partnerships, including grants and pro bono collaborations. The role requires a results-oriented professional capable of achieving partnership goals while collaborating with the team on joint opportunities.ย
This role includes maintaining a selected portfolio of partnerships, managing ongoing processes such as grant applications, reporting, and communication activities, and addressing incoming partner requests. Key partners include Innovation Norway, Grundfos Foundation, Porticus, SWECO, and YARA. Additionally, the Adviser will engage with internal stakeholders to ensure effective partnership management and take the lead in creating video content for a broader range of private sector collaborations.
What you will do:
Some of your generic responsibilities include:
- Cultivate private sector partnerships and manage active relationships with partners, through different approaches such as grants and pro bono with required return of investment.ย
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to drive partnership growth activities.
- Contribute to implementing NRCโs private sector fundraising strategyย
- Develop and conduct compliance procedures and due diligence/vetting on potential partners.ย
- Give training and support to the organisation
- Market analysis, mapping and research
- Monitor and evaluate fundraising income, activities and costsย
- Responsible for producing video communication and visibility regarding corporate partnerships
- Any other tasks and responsibilities falling under the sectionโs mandate, as instructed by line and technical manager

- Advise and contribute to private sector partnerships with development of concepts, campaigns, and activities.
- Contribute to creating and produce video communication for relationship building, nurturing and fundraising purposes for private sector partnershipsย
- Support technical lead on implementation of unit strategy

What you will bring:
- Minimum 3 years of documented relevant experience within marketing, business development, sales or other relevant professional qualificationsย
- Professional knowledge of the private corporate sector markedย
- Documented results related to relationship building, partnerships and networking โ partner care activities, content production and storytelling
- Documented abilities to simultaneously manage numerous tasks, project schedules and documents
- Demonstrated excellent communication skillsย
- Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and verbalย
- Experience from liaisons with corporate, philanthropy donors and foundationsย
- Communication skills to build bridges between the private sector industry and the humanitarian sectorย
- Experience working with stakeholders across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Interest in humanitarian and displacement issues an advantage
- Experience from marketing, events, fundraising, communication projects and/or project managementย
- Evidence of insight in corporate relations portfolio and understanding corporate teamsโ ways of working
- Evidence of strong video and communications skillsย
