- Assist with field monitoring by providing regular updates and verifying those daily activities adhere to best-practice principles and interagency guidelines and minimum standards. This includes submitting high quality and timely reports in English.ย
- Contribute to reporting and administration of field activities, such as drafting quality and timely content in English, collaborating with colleagues to meet deadlines, and proactively identifying programmatic and operational gaps in line with GBV interagency guidelines and minimum standards.ย
- ย Assist the GBV Coordinator in serving as the GBV Camp Level Focal Point for the assigned camp by, for example, representing IOM GBV in camp and Sector-level meetings, donor visits, and strengthening relationships with relevant partners and the community on GBV-related issues.ย
- Support the implementation of GBV related community-based outreach activities.ย
- Assist caseworkers as they provide services to survivors of GBV. This will include identification of client needs; basic counselling (and in some contexts further individual counselling and referral to specialists); development of action plans with clients; support to clients in pursuing services and support including referrals to emergency safe shelter.ย
- Support the GBV Mainstreaming and Community-Based Protection efforts by organizing and conducting activities, such as community events, trainings, interacting with community members, other sectors, and focal points, disseminating information on available services, conducting participatory community risk-mapping, and updating service mapping and referral pathway tools.

- University degree, preferably in psychology, womenโs studies, social work or public health with minimum of three years-experience in humanitarian settings, or equivalent to a combination of training and experience.ย
- A minimum of 2 years-experience in the field of migration, IDP and refugee assistance and protection (including specific experience on Protection).ย
- Experience in emergency operations and liaison with other UN and non-UN humanitarian actors.ย
- Knowledge of the region and/or country is essential.ย
- ย Knowledge of foundational concepts in relation to GBV guiding principles and Protection mainstreaming (IASC Protection Policy, Sphere Standards, Child Protection Minimum Standards, ICRC Professional Protection Standards, GBV Standard Operating Procedures; IASC GBV Guidelines; IASC Gender Handbook; WHO Ethical and Safety Recommendations for Researching, Documenting and Monitoring Sexual Violence in Emergencies; Camp Management Toolkit etc.)ย
