The Finance Technical Officer is responsible for organizing and delivering the day-to-day operational finance processesย by ensuring adherence to NRCโs policies and donor requirements.

โข ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Ensure timely payment of contractors, suppliers, taxes and other expenditures. Verify that vouchers and the supporting documents (purchase requests, purchase orders, quotations, authorization of payment, etc.) comply with NRCโs procedures
โข ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Ensure that cash and bankbook records are updated on daily basis and reconciliation is done between bank/cash and internal ERP Unit 4/Agresso. Ensuring that all financial credentials are in line with donor and country coding structure.
โข ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Perform daily bookkeeping and utilize the NRC Agresso accounting system.
โข ย ย ย ย ย ย Coordinate with Finance teams in different areas regarding cost allocations of basic running costs, before recording.

โข ย ย ย Support the Finance Manager with tasks related to annual country audits and project-specific audits
โข ย ย ย Perform other Finance related tasks as requested
B. - Partnershipย
Focal point of the budgeting and financial reporting processes of implementing partners and proving capacity building in financial aspects, as well as monitoring of data quality provided by them. Review partner financial reports (monthly, quarterly) Prepare financial verification report in line with NRC partnership policy and respective annexes Ensure all submitted supporting documents are in an accurate manner, readable and traceable Communicate with partner representative in case of comments/questionsย1. Professional competenciesย
Bachelor degree in Finance or a related major Minimum of 2 yearsโ relevant experience in Finance/Accounting Knowledge of Audit requirements Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts Fluent in English and Romanian, both written and spoken Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Kindly note that this position is open to candidates who have the legal right to work in Moldova and note that we are unable to provide work permits or visa sponsorships for this position.
