WorldFish would like to hire an intern who will be required to support the Zambia Finance Team on various finance tasks needed coming from multiple finance unit i.e. (Accounts payable & Accounts Receivable).
The successful candidate has key responsibilities in the following areas:
Assist in invoice registration, payment and manage AP Mailbox to resolve issue. Assist with the bank reconciliation. Assist with follow-ups with procurement to clear any issues in the P2P process. Assist in asset tagging and asset sighting process. Assist to develop and maintain an online filing on SharePoint assessable to key stakeholders. Assist with monthly fuel reconciliation. Assist Finance Manager with any ad-hoc assignments required to support Global Finance Team. Provide support to pre-and post-event activities related to workshops and conferences.Requirements
This job is open to Zambian Nationals with the following skills and qualifications:
Pursuing Business Administration degree studies or other relevant professional courses i.e. (ACCA, CIMA, ZICA etc) qualification. Full Grade 12 Certificate. Pursuing degree studies or other relevant professional courses i.e. (ACCA, CIMA, ZICA etc) qualification. High level of organization and planning skills. Demonstrate experience in vehicle maintenance management. Computer literate in Microsoft Excel and Word. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills. All academic qualifications to be verified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA).Benefits
Successful applicant will have the chance to gain knowledge and exposure firsthand, in an actual working experience with given rotational tasks within the department. A monthly stipend will be provided.The successful candidate will be based in Lusaka, Zambia. Interviews are expected to begin in February 2025. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified and expected to attend the virtual interview session. The successful candidate should be available to commence as soon as possible for a six (06) months contract.
