Finance and Procurement Associate
GGGI is seeking a Finance and Procurement Associate to support the implementation of Green Transition Mechanism from GGGI Africa Regional Office.
She/he supports Africa regional program in executing comprehensive Finance, Budget, and Reporting processes for the effective development and delivery of projects both financially and programmatically to ensure efficient and timely delivery of results. She/he is responsible for providing support in financial management, maintaining and verifying budget execution and controls in line with GGGI policies, work program and budget in keeping with GGGI policies, standards and donor requirements.

PURPOSE
The Finance and Procurement Associate will support the quality and quantity delivery of Africa regional program. She/he is expected to support in areas of finance, accounting, budget, reporting of the GTM project and regional program. She/he is responsible of ensuring that the project financial activities are aligned with donor requirements and GGGI rules.
ENGAGEMENT
Works closely with the GTM Team Lead, Regional Director, and Finance and Corporate Services Officer in the Africa Regional Office to ensure effective GTM project and regional program delivery Coordinates communications with donor focal points for indicated projects donor requirement compliance. With Regional FCS officer, she/he will support in solving technical and system related issues concerning Procurement, Finance, budget, Report and audit related to the program. Manage and maintain good relationship with external parties
DELIVERY
Consolidate financial analyses and reports and papers for the donor, Program Steering Committee, GGGI Support in development and submission of budget revision requests to donor and GGGI Management team Support colleagues in the mastery of GGGI Budget and finance management tools and processes. Support Project Manager in preparation and presentation of budget execution reports monthly, quarterly, and yearly, including requests for auditing purposes and donor financial reporting; Support the provision of required inputs for carrying out internal/external audits in compliance with the requirements and standards of GGGI and respective donor. Guide the adequate and efficient use of relevant management and financial modules of GGGI's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System for the Program Coordinate in the organization of conferences, meetings, seminars and workshops requesting, collecting and recording all information, processing expenses, claims and reports on behalf of meeting participants, contributing to the management events/meetings payment of invoice, DOAC and cash related expenses. Support in the reconciliation of bank, cash and DOAC (Defrayment of Attendance Costs). Prepare all payments, cash withdrawal by bank and clearing cash advances, Enter all payment vouchers, receipt vouchers and other journals into the system on daily basis, Assist in planning, analysing, expenditure tracking and forecasting of monthly program expenditure. Management the project and regional offices invoice registration and payment, Take responsibility for day-to-day administration activities as well work office space. Perform other administration, finance support as needed in support to the quantity and quality delivery.
REQUIREMENT
QUALIFICATIONS
Required bachelorโs degree in business administration, Finance, Accountant or related fields, Master's degree is an added advantage.
Preferred at least 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting roles, planning and implementation of development plans as well as budgets; preferably in international organizations at the local level. Ability to prepare written reports and business correspondence, both in English. Proficiency in resource planning software is a plus (e.g. ERP) Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); Strong oral and written English/French skills are required, including public speaking. Must be a citizen and based in Cote dโIvoire or have a valid work permit in Cote d'Ivoire.FUNCTIONAL

WORKING CONDITIONS
The Analyst position is an X6 grade level in GGGIโs national salary scale. The annual base salary of X6 nationa position in CIV starts from USD 23,520. Determination of base salary is subject to candidate's experience, academic background, and internal equity. GGGI provides 15% of base salary towards retirement plan/long-term savings, 27 days of annual leave, and private health insurance. This is a national position and does not include relocation benefits.
