Family Support Specialist

An exciting opportunity has become available for the right candidate to join 54 Reasons within our Secondary Family Support Program. The Family Support Specialist role works with families with children 0-18 years, providing Case Management services with the aim of achieving positive and sustainable long-term change for children and young people.

Where you come in:

In this Part-Time, Maximum Term Position available until Dec 2024 (with the possibility of extension), you’ll provide case management services to families living in the North of Brisbane for the purpose of promoting safe, happy and nurturing home environments for children and young people.

You are a person who is passionate about the early interventions space and have a child focused practice. You are relationship focused, able to build rapport with families, children and young people that transcends cultural and linguistic difference. You have a thorough understanding of child rights, child protection and child safeguarding practices and this knowledge is woven into the way you approach your assessments and your work with families.
