The ETT will provide a range of project management functions in print, design, typesetting, and other areas as needed. Additionally, s/he coordinates moderately complex projects, using an integrated approach, in the publishing space for printing, publishing, languages, and design.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Print and Design Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing print, design, translation, and editing projects, ensuring efficient workflow, client satisfaction, and high-quality deliverables. This includes:
โข Coordinate moderately complex print, design, and other projects as needed, keeping an overarching view of the business line and associated operational strategies.
โข Manage all stages of a project lifecycle, from initial request to final delivery, including receiving and reviewing client requests, entering, tracking, and updating project records in workflow systems (e.g., Storefront, Pace, Workfront), matching projects with appropriate internal staff or external vendors, considering expertise and availability.
โข Use Workfront to manage projects and promote its adoption among team members. Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving potential issues or delays, and proactively communicating status updates to clients.
โข Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring exceptional service.
โข Educate clients on accessibility factors and best practices to ensure inclusive design and print materials.
โข Ensure all print and design requests are managed within established service level agreements (i.e., 24-hour response time).
โข Contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects as needed.
โข Explore new products and printing capabilities to expand the range of services offered to clients.
Selection Criteria
โข Bachelorโs degree and at least five years of experience with print projects and technologies; an advanced university degree may be substituted for the required years of experience.
โข Knowledge and understanding of the print, design, and publishing processes, services, capabilities and workflows of GCS Integrated Business Solutions from job assessment to delivery of the finished product.
โข Strong skills in Printer technology, PACE, Workfront, and other computer applications in use in GCS Business Services.
โข Knowledge and experience using Adobe Suite tools such as Illustrator, InDesign a plus.
โข Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness and problem-solving skills.
โข Demonstrated professional leadership and ability to manage workflows and create an enabling environment to deliver business objectives.
โข Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills and ability to effectively present information.
โข Excellent command of English and proficiency in another major international language.
