BACKGROUND AND UNIT SUMMARY
The WBG Human Resources Vice Presidency (HRD) is focused on delivering high-value HR services to drive organizational performance and help make WBG the employer of choice in international development. In this regard, the HR Talent Management & Development Department delivers innovative solutions and strategies and global programs and services across the talent management and development lifecycle for the World Bank Group. Within the Department, the Talent and Career Development (HRDTC) Center of Expertise is responsible for providing integrated frameworks for performance management, conducting talent reviews, creating listening mechanisms to capture employee experience, mobilizing staff to required roles, enabling succession management to identify, develop and deploy leaders and providing career resources and advice to clarify roles and expectations at each level.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The selected Extended Term Consultant (ETC) will assist in all areas of employee listening and engagement, engagement survey design and delivery, platform, design, and configuration for the Listening Platform. The work program requires in-depth expertise in the areas of employee listening and engagement, engagement surveys design and delivery, talent management, as well as strong client relationship management and teamwork. The ETC will report to the Manager, Talent and Career Development and work closely with the listening program team responsible for the design, administration, and delivery of the various surveys and platform.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
โข Contribute to the design of survey, including survey structure, content, schedule, and other parameters, with the vendor and internal stakeholders.
โข Lead data analytics and mining using statistical techniques to identify trends and extract valuable insights and prepare accurate and robust data and metrics to support holistic employee listening.
โข Lead continuous improvements, ongoing design of dashboard and implementation of the Listening Platform.
โข Develop impactful manager and employee post-survey analytics and resources to facilitate enterprise-wide action management.
โข Contribute to the development and facilitation of training related to employee listening program
โข Develop and maintain the overall timeline and project plans, ensure timely completion of implementation activities including, but not limited to platform deployment and user testing, configuration, and other activities.
โข Develop dashboards for reporting and analytics of quantitative and qualitative data.
โข Develop high quality presentations, reports and/or documents that support engagement and decision-making.
โข Participate in ad hoc tasks as needed to support the project and team.
Selection Criteria
โข Masterโs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Behavioral Sciences, Organizational Development/Behavior, or related field with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience orย equivalent combination of education and experience.
โข Proven expertise in HR/talent management practices, especially employee engagement practices and approaches including measuring employee engagement via surveys and driving engagement via action management.
โข Knowledge and Experience utilizing various modern survey solutions including those leveraging AI/ML technology, designing, and delivering employee listening mechanisms (surveys, focus groups, 1~1 interviews, etc.) to produce actionable insights and monitoring for action management.
โข Excellent change management experience and ability to build relationships, conduct focus groups and collaborate effectively across diverse client groups and the Human Resources Department colleagues.
โข Excellent analytical skills: ability to provide reports, analyze data, draw conclusions, and provide data-driven recommendations.
โข High level of proficiency in problem solving, critical thinking, analyzing complex situations, and absorbing considerable amounts of data to identify key themes and identify actionable insights that lead to effective solutions and recommendations.
โข Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills in English, ability to translate complex data for various audiences, including designing effective and engaging presentations and writing reports.ย
โข Self-starter, good at generating ideas from self and others, and figuring out practical ways to implement and put them into practice and engage others in the task/project.
โข Highly motivated team player, able to collaborate with others effectively and share knowledge. Able to communicate, collaborate and engage colleagues and stakeholders effectively.
โข Ability to work effectively under stress; prioritize and juggle multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
