Description of the Assignment: Develop training modules on biodiversity offsets and the national biodiversity offset guideline, and online training course delivery.


* This trainer will work alongside a SANBI trainer to develop and finalize all training materials to SANBI’s specification. The Consultant is expected to use SANBI’s past course material and structure, as a starting point.

* The Consultant is expected to:

- critically review the past training course; propose and effect changes. This can amount to updating the existing SANBI training material or constructing new content completely.

- * Develop two new case studies to be used in each training session.

- record in high quality the lessons and have them ready for uploading onto selected portals.

* The Consultant is expected to cover all costs associated with the implementation of this training. These costs have to be specified in the budget, including:

- the time of the trainer associated with the course development; organizing and delivering of the online training recordings course evaluation;

* UNDP will cover the costs of hosting the course on an online platform which can be accessed by a broader audience.

* SANBI will take responsibility for registering the course for SACNASP CPD credits, as well as assisting participants to claim credits on completion of the course. The Consultant must ensure that participants complete the registration to enable them to claim credits.

Period of assignment/services : 4 months

Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
