5 Steps to get a job in the United Nations

Mission and objectivesWe work to advance the sustained protection, promotion and fulfillment of childrenโ€™s rights across the world, as set out in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. We do this in direct collaboration with children human rights defenders, including children themselves, using UN human rights mechanisms to ensure positive long-term impact at every level.

ContextThe Annual Report we are preparing and we will design will follow roughly the same format and length as our latest Annual Report (https://childrightsconnect.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/child_rights_ar_2023_web.pdf) The proofreading would be required in mid to end March for two weeks and the designing would be required in April.

Task DescriptionDear Community, Would you like to contribute to the work of Child Rights Connect? Volunteer to Proofread or Design our Annual Report! Child Rights Connect is a nongovernmental organisation founded in 1983 and now operates as the largest global network of child rights organisations. With 119 member organisations, it spans all regions, reaching millions of children in almost 200 countries, and benefits from a diversity of approaches and experiences in realising the rights of the child under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and its Optional Protocols. Through us, childrenโ€™s rights defenders, including children, can address the international community with one global voice and have a stronger influence on political decisions. To learn more about our activities, please consult our new Strategic Plan 2025-2029 (https://childrightsconnect.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/crcnct_strategicplan_2025-2029-1.pdf).
