Mission and objectives The Knowledge Project is a partnership between UNDP and the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation seeking to promote knowledge generation and dissemination in the Arab region and beyond since 2008. It builds on three Arab Knowledge Reports, the Arab Knowledge Index, the knowledge4all portal, the Arab Reading Index, the Future of Knowledge Report and the Global Knowledge Index (GKI).

In addition to the logo design, the task includes the creation of a branding guide that outlines proper usage guidelines. This will ensure consistency across all platforms and materials, including business cards, letterheads, marketing materials, and the website. The guide should cover aspects such as colour schemes, typography, logo spacing, and acceptable variations for different applications. The logo should be adaptable for various uses and should work in both full colour and black-and-white versions. Mockups should be provided for business cards, letterheads, and other promotional items to demonstrate how the brand identity will be applied.
