The Incumbent: 1.Supervisor: The incumbent reports to the Chief, Field Education Programme (CFEP). 2.Supervisees: The incumbent supervises a large team of professional and support staff and provides strategic direction, leadership and management on all technical, managerial and programmatic matters related to the Field Education Programme ResponsibilitiesThe Incumbent: 1. Advises and assists the Chief, Field Education Programme in the planning, management, monitoring and evaluation of all technical matters related to the implementation of Education Programme. 2.Supervises the programmatic aspects of Education Programme in the Field Office providing technical guidance to Area Education Officers, Heads Education Development Center (as applicable) and ensuring coordination of personnel in line with UNRWA policies, rules, and regulations. 3. Supports the supervisor in monitoring and reporting of Field Education Programme activities related to technical issues. 4.Supervises and/or participates in the recruitment of technical staff and performance appraisal within the Education Programme in the Field Office and evaluates the efficiency of staff performance. 5. Supports supervisor in overseeing the implementation of Education Programme including supervision of the technical support unit, and/or Education Development Center (where applicable). 6. Contributes to the preparation of the biennium budget of the Field Education Programme. 7. Contributes in liaising with government, local authorities and UN/NGOs to ensure them cooperationโs and support in the operation of the Education Programme. 8.
