IRC seeks a Data and Reporting Specialist to help to ensure that unaccompanied childrenโs cases are tracked and closed and that data is collected and added to the appropriate funderโs reporting systems. In addition, the Data and Reporting Specialist will provide data and reporting support with Influx Care Facility (ICF) cases for unaccompanied children released from ORR shelters. They will assist in the timely submission of monthly data and report overflow ICF cases. The Data and Reporting Specialist will also provide data and reporting support to the ImportaMรญ team. ImportaMรญ is a digitally enabled responsive information service for unaccompanied children and their sponsors that supports and empowers them by providing information to understand their options so they can make informed decisions about how to stay safe, get urgent care for acute problems, exercise their rights, and access services.
The Data and Reporting Specialist will collaborate with the Childrenโs Legal Services Department, including the Supervising Attorney and ImportaMi Senior Program Officer, Immigration Intake Specialists, and other legal staff, to ensure cases are reported correctly and any case documents are uploaded and updated, as needed before submission. This is a fully remote position.
This position is anticipated to be funded through July 31, 2026. Continuation is subject to ongoing funding availability.
Major Responsibilities:
โข Input event data into spreadsheets and various reporting software and databases for the Childrenโs Legal Services Remote and ImportaMรญ teams.
โข Review data entered by team members to ensure accuracy and ensure completion.
โข Ensure that data is completed and entered promptly and in compliance with deadlines established by funding requirements and prepare monthly reports.
โข Maintain confidentiality pursuant to legal ethics rules.
โข Other tasks as needed.
Team Collaboration:
The Data and Reporting Specialist will be line-managed by ImportaMรญ Senior Program Officer. They will work closely with the Remote Children Legal Services Supervising Attorney, ImportaMรญโs Senior Program Officer, and other legal staff.
Job Requirements:
โข Bachelorโs degree preferred.
โข Minimum 1 year of experience related to working in a non-profit legal setting or working with unaccompanied children and/or immigrant families.
โข Critical ability to manage time and demonstrated commitment to meet reporting deadlines.
โข Strong computer literacy, database, and analysis skills.
โข Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel, and have experience with Adobe Acrobat, and other database/reporting systems. Knowledge of Unaccompanied Childrenโs Referral systems (UCORD and UCLS, a plus).
โข Strong interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills, with a proven track record to prioritize projects with extremely keen attention to detail.
โข Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate as part of multiple teams.
โข Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, proactive, initiative to problem solve, and exercise sound judgment. Fluency in both Spanish and English is preferred (speaking, reading, and writing).
โข Experience researching information online and through social media platforms and compiling relevant details as part of the case file.
โข Evidence of capacity to be a strong team member in a highly collaborative environment.
โข Deep commitment to working with immigrants, children, and asylum seekers.
โข Personal integrity in handling ethically complex and confidential situations.

โข This is a remote position. Remote work is to be performed in one of the 50 U.S. states.
Compensation: (Pay Range: $20.00 - $29.48) Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
