5 Steps to get a job in the United Nations

Mission and objectivesUNICEF is mandated by the United Nations General Assembly to advocate for the protection of children's rights, to help meet their basic needs and to expand their opportunities to reach their full potential.

ContextUNICEF works to ensure that all boys and girls in Uganda, especially the most vulnerable and disadvantaged, realize their rights and have an equal opportunity to survive and thrive. Our content management system plays a crucial role in disseminating information, resources, and updates to our global audience; regular updates are essential to ensure the accuracy and relevance of our content. Consequently, UNICEF Uganda is looking for two online volunteers who are fluent in English to help with editing, proofreading, and formatting documents and presentations. The volunteers will also help update the Uganda Country officeโ€™s electronic content management system (SharePoint) to ensure the relevance of our content and that it reflects our ongoing programmes and initiatives. Online volunteers will receive feedback on their collaboration and quality of work and a certificate of appreciation upon successful completion of their assignment. They will also be given credit for support where applicable.
