Research and Communication
Proof-reading, editing research reports, communication materials Support in ongoing and new research and data analysis on migration trends, remittances, irregular migration and diaspora engagement.ย Compile case studies or success stories based on research findings to be integrated into IOM Indiaโs communication materials and reports. Prepare reports on events, campaigns, workshops and stakeholder meetings, ensuring compliance with IOMโs reporting standards. Support the development and execution of awareness campaign. Prepare detailed reports on events, campaigns, and stakeholder meetings, ensuring compliance with IOMโs reporting standards. Contribute to IOM Indiaโs knowledge products, such as case studies or policy briefs, by compiling data and drafting content on migration trends and best practices.Coordination and administration
Support in coordination with research agencies, service providers to support migration-related initiatives, including dissemination workshops and Migration Resource Center activities. Support in events (virtual or in-person), such as roundtables or training sessions, managing invitations, registrations, and logistics.ย Support coordination efforts with partners (e.g., UN agencies, NGOs) by organizing meetings, preparing agendas, minutes and documenting outcomes to strengthen IOM Indiaโs network. Qualifications and Experience
Education: Masterโs degree in public policy, Development Studies, Communications or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in communications, research, project coordination, preferably with international organizations (e.g., IOM, UN agencies).
Desired Experience
Proven track record in undertaking research. Familiarity with the management of social media campaigns and digital content creation, with experience in analytical tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite etc. will be an advantage. Experience in event planning and stakeholder coordination, particularly in migration or development contexts.Skills:
Fluent in English and at least one Indian language (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, or Marathi); fluency in additional Indian and foreign languages would be an asset. Working knowledge and experience in MS Office andย Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) will be an advantage.
