The Consortium Coordinator will be tasked with ensuring compliance with NRC and donor policies, actively contributing to the coordination of the Consortium work plan and providing technical support to EDU-PRO Consortium members and partners. Furthermore, the role will include the creation and coordination of the use of consortium management and implementation tools. Additionally, the role involves quality control and technical support for implementing partners, serving as the primary donor focal point, and assessing opportunities for program improvement.

What you will do:
Ensure adherence to NRC and donor policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines ย Contribute to the coordination of implementation of the Consortium work plan (activities, budget and project documentation) in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements ย Provide specific technical support and coordination towards and between EDU-PRO Consortium parties, partners and staff ย Conduct quality control and provide technical support to implementing partners and/or contactors ย Act as primary donor focal point ย Assess, promote and document ideas for technical improvement and further program development options ย Prepare and develop status reports as required by management ย Ensure proper filing of documents ยSpecific responsibilitiesย
Support the development and implementation of Consortium Strategy in line with evolving needs, operational context and technical practices ย Promote the adherence to the EDU-PRO common rationale and harmonized EDU-PRO tools ย Contribute to the coordination and operational issues amongst EDU-PRO partners. ย Support constructive and structured communication, engagement and coordination between various stakeholders ย Represent the Consortium in coordination forums; and attend internal and external meetings ย Ensure compliance with donor guidelines/rules/regulations and contractual obligations ยWhat you will bring:
Relevant university degree or higher education preferable in social studies ย Minimum 2-3 years of experience of programmatic implementation in a ย ย ย humanitarian/recovery context ย Technical experience in managing (multisectoral) grants ย Experience working in complex and volatile contexts ย Budget management and monitoring experience ย Fluency in English and Italian, both written and verbal ย Experience working with refugees, IDPs or returnees is a plus ย Knowledge of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and respective donor regulations is a plus ยย What Makes This Position Attractive?
