            THE ROLE

            WFP Palestine Communication teams have been providing support in the development of communication strategy, implementation of a communication plans, creation of communication materials, support with advocacy with key stakeholders, and identifying opportunities to position WFP with an aim to support WFPโ€™s mandate in the country.

            The Communication officer will be leading the Gaza Communication teams on the development, outreach and publication of communication for the Gaza operation. The Communication Officer will report directly to the Emergency Coordinator in Gaza with secondary technical reporting line to Head of Government Partnerships and Communication Unit at the Country Office. He/she will also be working closely with the different WFP Units in Gaza field office as well as the Country Office, Regional Offices and HQ.
