BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
El Programa Mundial de Alimentos de las Naciones Unidas (WFP, por sus siglas en ingl茅s) es la organizaci贸n humanitaria que salva vidas y cambia vidas, brindando asistencia alimentaria en emergencias y trabajando con las comunidades para mejorar la nutrici贸n y crear resiliencia. Por sus esfuerzos por luchar contra el hambre, su contribuci贸n a mejorar las condiciones de paz en las zonas afectadas por conflictos y por actuar como motor de los esfuerzos para prevenir el uso del hambre como arma de guerra y conflicto, el WFP fue galardonado con el Premio Nobel de la Paz en 2020.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Brindar soporte al personal resolviendo problemas t茅cnicos de hardware/software y de la misma manera resolver tareas administrativas para asegurar operaciones de oficina fluidas.
2. Brindar soporte en la gesti贸n de activos de la oficina manteniendo registros e inventarios precisos.
3. Brindar soporte t茅cnico para reubicaci贸n de oficina en todos los aspectos relacionados con TI, incluyendo traslado de equipos, configuraci贸n de la infraestructura y asegurar una transici贸n tecnol贸gica sin interrupciones a las nuevas instalaciones.
4. Apoyar en la organizaci贸n y el mantenimiento del orden en los espacios de TI, como racks de servidores, bodegas de equipos y estaciones de trabajo.
5. Brindar apoyo en la Documentaci贸n de Procedimientos B谩sicos de T, incluyendo la creaci贸n y actualizaci贸n de documentaci贸n interna simple sobre procedimientos de TI de uso frecuente.
6. Apoyo en la gesti贸n de tareas administrativas de la oficina.DELIVERABLES AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT:
- Registro de Incidentes y Soluciones: Un listado de los problemas de TI resueltos y las tareas administrativas completadas.
- Inventario de Activos de TI Actualizado: Un registro verificado de los equipos y una confirmaci贸n de la organizaci贸n de los espacios de TI.
- Contribuci贸n a la Documentaci贸n: Las gu铆as o procedimientos b谩sicos de TI que se hayan creado o actualizado.
- Un informe de las actividades realizadas durante la mudanza de la oficina de Quito
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education: Ingenier铆a en sistemas o afines.
Experience: 4 years
Knowledge & Skills:
El profesional ideal debe tener conocimientos t茅cnicos b谩sicos (sistemas operativos Windows, hardware, software de oficina, redes fundamentales) y, crucialmente, s贸lidas habilidades blandas: orientaci贸n al servicio, comunicaci贸n clara, capacidad de resoluci贸n de problemas, organizaci贸n, adaptabilidad y una fuerte iniciativa para aprender.
