UNRWA in the West Bank is embarking into the implementation of a two-year project focused on Supporting Temporary Employment and Infrastructure Rehabilitation Programme (STEP), through the creating of some 6,000 short-term cash for work opportunities and the maintenance and rehabilitation of its installations, including schools and health clinics across the West Bank. The Incumbent: (i) Title of Supervisor: Project Manager (ii) Title of Supervisee/s: N/A ResponsibilitiesThe Incumbent : 1. Assists the Project manager in identifying and reviewing project needs, prepares individual project proposals and maintains the Field's project master list. 2. Lead in Cash for Work beneficiariesโ€™ registration and selection process 3. Conducts regular field monitoring visits to ensure beneficiary attendance records are fully completed. Receive beneficiaries feedback and timely address them. 4. Coordinates and follow up on project implementation with the programme and concerned departments and in reporting to the Project manager any delays or problems hindering the implementation of projects. 5. Coordinates with the concerned department in drafting project progress reports and updates. Collects data and information on the progress of project implementation for inclusion in the monthly monitoring report. 6. Monitors and controls financial expenditure of projects in coordination with the Administrative Officers of the programme and concerned departments, the Field Finance Officer and HQ Finance Department. Assists the Projects Officer in developing alternative plans to utilize remaining funds after project completion, in coordination with the relevant departments. 7. Assists the Projects manager during donor/s visits. 8.
