Purpose of Job

The role contributes to support the Associate Director in the deployment of TC assignments and policy work related to digital transformation and cybersecurity and support the Digital Hub in terms of deployment of digital products.

Background

Accelerating the digital transitionโ€™ is one of the three cross-cutting themes of the Bankโ€™s medium-term Strategy (the Strategic and Capital Framework 2021 โ€“ 2025) which states that by 2025 the Bank will have launched comprehensive and coherent activities to help countries of operations leverage the digital transition as an enabler of transition across all sectors. To operationalise this digital mandate, the Bank has developed a Digital Approach that outlines its vision of how to embed digital aspects across its investment, policy and advisory services.

The role of an Analyst is to support the implementation of the Digital Approach across the Bank. The Digital Approach consists of: i) enabling equal access to digital technology and skills, ii) provision of financial and technical support to companies and governments, and iii) establishment of robust governance practices. The analyst will focus on mitigating digital and cyber risks as part of the implementation of the digital approach and promote via internal and external media channels the work and the events the Digital Hub will be involved in.

The Analyst function will focus on managing donor funded projects, including delivery and reporting, working with banking colleagues and clients. The number of TCs under the Digital Hubโ€™s two flagship TC programmes, the Cybersecurity Resilience Programme (CRP) and Digital Transformation Support Programme (DTSP), are rapidly increasing. The Analyst will also liaise with our Donor Partnership and Procurement colleagues in order to deliver swiftly the services to the clients that the CRP entail (followed up of contracts, input of TC assignments in TCRS, tracking of deliverables, follow up of payment in SAP...)
