    Background

    WFP Centre of Excellence against Hunger in Brazil (WFP CoE Brazil) is a global hub for South-South Cooperation and capacity development in the areas of school feeding, social development, smallholder farmers support, food security and nutrition. It is an innovation that seeks to respond government and private sector demands for project preparation and technical support to strengthen their national capacities and knowledge on sustainable school feeding and other food security programmes, and to support them in the design and implementation of these programmes.     Accountabilities

    Under the direct supervision of the Director, the Specialist will focus on advocacy and resource mobilization, identifying new donor opportunities (e.g., International Financial Institutions (IFIs), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), private sector, innovative financing), strategic positioning, and fostering partnerships related to SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) while enhancing internal collaboration within WFP.
