The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigerian nationals for the position below at the Institute\u2019s headquarters in Ibadan.

Position:    Administrative Officer    

Contract:        2-year renewable contract                                    Location:  Ibadan

DUTIES:

Office Administration & Coordination

\u00b7         Support general administrative operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow within the unit.

\u00b7         Maintain and organize office records, files and documentation, in compliance with organizational policies.

\u00b7         Manage office supplies, inventory and procurement processes, and ensuring optimal stock levels.

\u00b7         Handle confidential information and documents with discretion, adhering to established confidentiality protocols.

Executive & Secretarial Support

\u00b7         Manage schedules, appointments and correspondence for senior staff.

\u00b7         Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, taking minutes and following up on action items.

Travel & Logistics Management

\u00b7         Process travel advances and related documentation for the unit\u2019s staff promptly.

\u00b7         Handle Oracle request, track approvals, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

Operational & Compliance Support

\u00b7         Maintain accurate stock inventory records and ensure timely stationery and office supplies replenishment.

\u00b7         Support budget tracking and expense monitoring related to administrative functions.

\u00b7         Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures, guiding staff as needed.

General Administrative Support

\u00b7         Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations and official correspondence.

\u00b7         Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on administrative and operational matters.

\u00b7         Provide support for office events, workshops and training sessions.

Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION:

BSc/HND in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field with a minimum of three (3) years\u2019 experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
