Administration & Human Resource Assistant
Joining a humanitarian organisation that has been operating in Vanuatu for 40 years, you will be responsible for providing effective Administration & Human Resource support to the Country Office.
Salary Range: VUV1,073,042 - VUV1,716,865 p/annum

Where you come in:
Reporting to the Administration Human Resource & ICT Director, you will provide effective Administrative and HR support as needed, assisting the SCA office daily operations by working collaboratively within the organisation and with our partners and other stake holders.
You will make an impact by:
· Providing general office receptionist duties in a professional and courteous manner
· Ensuring the office consistently presents a professional image and coordinate basic repairs and maintenance as needed
· Working closely with ICT officer to maintain master asset tracker including disposals
· Ensuring spend within budget
· Being able to take the lead in planning, implementing of staff training & development.
· Provide assistance by coordinating domestic flights and accommodation as needed
· Support HR in various recruitment stages
· Ensuring HR record processing and maintenance of personal staff files
· Effectively process & maintain employees police checks
· Process visitors & staffs short/long term visa’s

…Your experience & skills in Administration functions, with knowledge in basic Human Resource, multi-tasking able to work under pressure, reliable and committed performing to the highest standard. You are pro-active and seeks advise as and when needed. You are self-motivated, flexible and driven to see results.
This role requires:
· Minimum technical diploma and/or vocational training in Business Administration and / or minimum relevant work experience, preferably in Administration & Human Resource with an International Non-Government Organization (INGO);
· Excellent communication skills in Bislama and good in English;
· Ability to ensure the implementation of administrative transactions;
· Demonstrated high level organizational and time management skills, ensuring timely processing to meet deadlines in a complex environment;
· Demonstrated ability to take direction and to work as part of a team;
· Demonstrated experience in following standard policies, procedures, and processes.
· Demonstrated honesty, maintaining confidentiality, reliable and trustworthy.
· A willingness to adhere to Save the Children Child Safeguarding & Protection policies.
· Very good in Microsoft Office with knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Fluent Bislama and English language skills, ni-Vanuatu citizenship
