Typical Responsibilities - Key End Results of Position:
1. Accounting and General Ledger (SAP).
- Ensure all intercompany accounts items (121000) are cleared before period closure
- Ensure all Staff advances are liquidated in SAP before period closure. (144110)
- Prepare a separate advance liquidation report for all GF staff by the 10th of the month.
- Prepare bank reconciliation by the 3rd of the month and ensure comments are made on all outstanding issues.
2. Treasury management
- Review All Field /CO petty cash reports before replenishment
- Make Field payment according to Plan and ensure all payments are made according to the check list and liquidation submitted on time
- Ensure to record Monthly bank charges and other outstanding items in the bank reconciliation before every month end closure.
3. Cost recovery
- Ensure all Operating cost is recovered by the end of the month
- Ensure all cost recovery on Salary are processed by the end of every month
- Ensure all GF national/international staff salary paid from Plan main account is refunded before the end of the month.
- Ensure to follow the CNO cost recovery procedure when recording ICR in the system.
4. Audit Management
- Ensure all Documents requested by LFA are provided on time and Documents refiled at the end.
- Ensure all internal audit needs are addressed and all documents refiled at the end of the process.
- Coordinate all external audit activities and ensure all information requested is provided on time.
5. Others:
- Keep the Project Finance Manager informed of any initiative or difficulties relating to the jobโs responsibilities.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

- Bachelorโs degree in accounting or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a similar position in a comparable organization.
- Good knowledge of local accounting practices, standards, procedures and regulations.
Physical Environment and Demands:
Typically office environment with 10% travel in project/ program implementation areas.
