Action contre la Faim (ACF) has been working in Mozambique between 1991 and 2001, and has resumed its presence in 2019 via local actorsโ strengthening and in 2021 via direct interventions. ACFโs mission in Mozambique is currently in full expansion, with ongoing large scale emergency projects and several others in discussion. The field team is composed of 120 people, and the team is still growing.
Our assistance currently focuses on the Province of Cabo Delgado, with an office in office in Pemba and a sub-office in Mueda. However we are working on a registration in two other Provinces in the Northern part of the country.
We are looking for our new Staff Care Psychologist based in Pemba.

Votre poste et vos responsabilitรฉs
Under the management of the Country Director, and the Psychologist responsible for staff care in HQ, you will be responsible for strengthening ACFโs employee's coping mechanisms due to work-related stress factors.
More precisely, you will :
Improve staff's strategies regarding stress related to professional factors (burnout issues, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma) and personal factors (exposure to traumatic events) ;Provide psychological support and follow-up in cases of traumatic exposure ;Provide individual counselling for those asking for it, on a regular basis ;Identify local resources for mental health, in order to facilitate psychological care in case of future needs.
Votre profil
You must have master degree in Clinical psychology with a relevant experience in psychotrauma and psychotherapy (BCT or EMDR training appreciated).
You have good interpersonal skills and ability to work in sensitive cultural environments and hardship conditions.
You are fluent in oral and written Portuguese (including translation and creation of tools) and in oral and written English (including writing reports).
You also have a demonstrated experience and ability in workshop facilitation.
This position may include working occasionnaly during weekends (in case of a critical incident).
An eperience with ACF and a good knowledge of the humanitarian context in Mozambique will be an asset.

International package
Fixed term contract under French legislation: 2 months
Monthly gross salary from 2130 to 2475โฌ upon experience
Reimbursement of the pension insurance for non-French citizens: 16% of the gross monthly salary
Annual salary increase: 6% increase after and each 12 months of continuous contract
Monthly per diem and living allowance: 653โฌ net, field paid
Monthly country allowance: 300โฌ
Child allowance: 1500โฌ per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000โฌ/year)
Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
Medical coverage: ACF covers 100% of the social security, health insurance, and repatriation insurance agreement fees.
Salary sustainment measures (sickness, paternity, maternity)
Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year, airfare reimbursement with a ceiling to get to the chosen break destination, and 215 โฌ for each RnR period

Gross Monthly Income / Salรกrio mensal bruto: from 172,652 to 199,866 MZN upon experience
13th Month / 13ยบ Mรชs: paid in December (prorata depending on the starting date)
