5 Steps to get a job in the United Nations

Votre environnement de travail

In mid 2021, ACF decided to open a full structured mission in Mozambique and start its activities following the findings of an initial scoping mission in October/November 2020 and a rapid informal information gathering in May 2021 for nutrition. This strategy is based on these results, plus the information gathered through ACF field presence and clusterโ€™s participation since early 2021.

Humanitarian needs among conflict-affected populations in Cabo Delgado are wide-ranging and span all of ACFโ€™s core sectors of expertise, including Food Security & Livelihoods, Nutrition & Health and WASH, which have been prioritized as part of our emergency strategy in partnership with local and international NGOs already present in Cabo Delgado to support the emergency response in the area. In light of the rapidly changing context, the humanitarian needs and ACFโ€™s expertise, the geographic area of intervention will focus on H2R (Hard to Reach) areas comprising Mueda and Macomia, with complementarity in districts with higher needs and population movements.

The mission currently employs 7 international and 65 national staff working from Pemba and Mueda. ACF is exploring new areas of intervention to best address the needs of the population.

We are looking for a Grant and Reporting Coordinator based in Pemba, to follow up on funding opportunities, proposal development and the overall donors and partners activities from a grants perspective.
