5 Steps to get a job in the United Nations

Mission and objectivesYouth Co:Lab positions young people front and center in order to solve the regionโ€™s most pressing challenges. Co-created in 2017 by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Citi Foundation, Youth Co:Lab aims to establish a common agenda for countries in the Asia-Pacific region to empower and invest in youth so that they can accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through leadership, social innovation and entrepreneurship.

ContextThe Youth Empowerment in Climate Action Platform (YECAP) is a regional youth-led platform in Asia and the Pacific. YECAP works to empower young people to meaningfully engage in climate governance, climate justice, green jobs and entrepreneurship, and inclusive policy processes across the region. The YECAP website serves as a key digital platform to showcase youth-led initiatives, regional programmes, publications, impact stories, and partnerships to diverse audiences. As YECAP continues to grow, the website needs to evolve to better reflect its expanding portfolio, improve user experience, and enable the internal team to manage content more efficiently and sustainably.
