VN 25/33 Database Engineer

Ready to launch your career with Europeโ€™s meteorological satellite agency? At EUMETSAT, we are not just monitoring the weather and climate from spaceโ€”we are shaping the future of weather and climate science, 24/7, 365 days a year.

Be part of a dynamic team where your efforts contribute to a greater purpose. As a Database Engineer, within the IT and Data Infrastructures Division (I2D), you'll have the opportunity to work on EUMETSATโ€™s generic Information Technology (IT) and data infrastructure to satisfy needs of operational missions, future programmes and corporate IT.

You will primarily work on data infrastructure, in an environment led by innovation and excellence. You will collaborate with experts to develop, design and enhance the delivery of IT services, in particular Database Administration Services. Whether you are harnessing cutting edge technology to optimize data management in support of mission critical applications or fine-tuning database systems for peak performance, you will be at the forefront of delivering crucial services to internal users.

With EUMETSAT, your work isn't just a jobโ€”it's a mission to empower decision-makers, protect communities, and safeguard our planet.
