1. Coordinate the implementation and follow-up on relevant project activities of the DT4E2.0 project in Slovakia. This includes following up on projectsโ work plans and deliverables, organizing steering committees, events, stakeholder meetings, etc;
2.Support the project partners with the implementation of the project in Slovakia. Liaise with the employers, partners and stakeholders and assist in the overall project monitoring;
3.Prepare periodic and final reports to the relevant donors, including filing and preparation of supporting documentation and supporting in overall planning, coordination, implementation and monitoring of project activities;
4.Identify, suggest and support the establishment of partnerships with the civil society (NGOs, diaspora associations, etc.) and other stakeholders, mainly private sector;
5.Coordinate implementation of activities related to private sector engagement; participate in the formulation of plans and activities to engage the private sector;
6.Prepare draft of conference presentations and speeches related to labour mobility and inclusion and private sector engagement for the Head of the unit and CoM;
7.Organize meetings, workshops, training sessions private sector outreach activities; prepare training materials and information materials in Slovak and English and participate in the delivering of capacity building workshops;
8.Prepare and participate in programme-related meetings and conferences on a national and international level;
9.Support the development of new projects and initiatives on labour mobility, social inclusion and private sector engagement. This includes the drafting sections of proposals, and identification of donor priorities and funding opportunities;
10.Elaborate research reports and recommendations;
11.Draft status reports; identify shortfalls in delivery, bring them to the attention of the supervisor and suggest corrective measures;
12.Respond to complex information requests and inquiries; set up and maintain files/records;
13.Provide guidance/training to other staff members on labour mobility, social inclusion and private sector engagement;
14.Perform any other tasks as may be required by CoM or National Legal Officer as a Head of the unit.
Education
- University degree in Social Science, Economics, Humanities or related field from an accredited academic institution, with at least four years of relevant professional experience, preferably in similar roles;
OR - Completed High School degree from an accredited academic institution, with at least six years of relevant working experience, preferably in similar roles. Experience
- Proven working experience in implementation of EU-funded projects;
- Experience in writing and editing of project proposals and reports;
- Experience in preparing and delivering presentations and trainings;
- Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, and non-governmental organizations;
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-governmental or governmental institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage;
- Proven experience with private sector engagement projects is an advantage;
- Experience in working with migrants and supporting their integration in host societies is an advantage;
- Experience in social, labour and migration law of the Slovak Republic, in the processes of recognition of education and qualifications from abroad an the system of Slovak language education is an advantage. Skills

- For this position, fluency in English and Slovak is required (oral and written). IOMโs official languages are English, French and Spanish.
