Responsibilities RTI Internationalโ€™s Global Health Division is currently accepting applications for Technical Advisors for an anticipated USAID-funded Philippines Global Health Security (GHS) activity. The new project will assist the Philippines in strengthening its GHS systems at the national, regional, and local levels. This activity will seek to improve prevention, early detection and response to existing and emerging infectious diseases of public health concern. This 5-year program will focus on strengthening systems for multi-sectoral, One Health governance and coordination, surveillance and laboratory systems, and reducing threats of antimicrobial resistance. The positions will be based in Manila, Philippines and the position is contingent upon award and funding. Filipino natives highly encouraged to apply. Qualifications We are looking for expert personnel in human, animal and environmental health with a masterโ€™s degree and at least 5 years of experience or a bachelorโ€™s degree and at least 8 years of experience in the following areas: National, regional or local global health security implementation Infectious disease surveillance systems Early warning systems and rapid response Laboratory systems Zoonotic epidemiology One Health Health workforce development Health system strengthening Data systems Antimicrobial resistance
