Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position of Treasury Analyst is assigned to the Financial Policy and Planning Division (TDFP) within the Treasury Department (TD). You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.
You will report to Assistant Treasurer, TDFP and Officer.
Your Role
As a Treasury Analyst, you will ((i) manage the collection and data analysis relating to financial policy formulation and revision; (ii) coordinate the preparation of the TD Quarterly Report; (iii) act as Secretariat of the Asset Liability Management Committee (ALCO); and (iv) help manage regional forums and workshops.
You will:
- Help manage regional forums in areas of public debt management, reserve management and Sovereign Asset and Liability Management
Qualifications
You will need:
Bachelor's degree in Banking, Accountancy, Business Administration or other disciplines. At least 5 years of relevant work experience in treasury, accounting, knowledge management, and general office administration with solid experience in project and TA administration, TA implementation and capacity building activities Proficiency in planning, analytical, coordination, and to handle many tasks with deadlines. Excellent client orientation and ability to work with external clients, especially senior government officials. Knowledgeable of ADB's and other similar multi-lateral development banks' (MDBs) financial policies, products and operations. Familiarity with ADB's and similar MDBs knowledge management procedures and experience applying creative solutions in task execution. Demonstrated accuracy in handling data. Additional Information
This appointment is open to internal and external applicants.
This is a fixed-term appointment for an initial fixed period of 3 years. At the end of the initial period, this appointment may, at the option of ADB, be extended once for up to 2 years, converted to a regular appointment, or ended on its expiration date. This decision will be made in the overall interest of ADB that: (a) it will require Staff's particular blend of skills and experience in the foreseeable future; and (b) Staff's performance is satisfactory and they are suitable for further employment.
