We run our activities from savings of co-founders and on volunteer contribution of the experts. ContextThink Tank AlterContacts is preparing an Encyclopedia on Sustainable Living in the Post-Pandemic World. It is based on unique practices and lessons collected from certified experts worldwide. The goal is to bring knowledge and guidance to people from all backgrounds that would allow them to live happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives. This project contributes primarily to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being. The pandemic has affected all of us physically and mentally. It is more important than ever to share knowledge that can improve the quality of living and practice SDG daily. The approach is based on eliminating things we do not need and making our life more sustainable. The themes of the Encyclopedia include Eating and Recipes; Fitness; Daily Habits; Inner Harmony; Positive Communication. The Encyclopedia cannot be used as medical advice. It is meant as an alternative opinion on healthy living. Once ready, the Encyclopedia will be shared with young people within the United Nations registered initiative #SDGAction43888. Task DescriptionWe are seeking six Online Volunteer (fluent in English) to transcribe video-entries for the AlterContacts Encyclopedia on Sustainable Living in the Post-Pandemic World. This role is fully remote. Therefore, it is important that the Online Volunteer have experience of working with Google Docs. The task lasts four weeks. Your workload will not exceed 10 hours per week. The task consists of the following: 1) accurately transcribing 2 to 5 videos (up to 3 hours of video content in total). In each video, our expert explains a specific topic in the format of an interview. The transcription will need to capture it in the same way: question-answer. 2) submitting each transcription in the format according to the guide provided by AlterContacts The selected Online Volunteer will be provided with the links to the video-interviews and will receive guidance as needed. The Online Volunteer will have the opportunity to build connections with the team of Think Tank AlterContacts and learn how her or his work contributes to the SDG Acceleration Action #SDGAction43888.
