In this part time (0.6 FTE) permanent position (ideally, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9am to 5pm), youโll provide clinical and operational support to our Specialist Counselling staff, to support them to deliver quality client services. With a flexible role that includes working from home, youโll work collaboratively with other 1800RESPECT Team Leaders. Youโll be based in either Melbourne or Adelaide, and will report to the Senior Manager Family and Domestic Violence.
You will make a difference by:
Providing support and leadership to our Specialist Counselling team Supporting the wider 1800RESPECT leadership teams to ensure we are delivering high quality and contractually compliant servicesA place to feel valued:
Youโre a passionate and confident leader who motivates and builds the capacity of others, with expert knowledge of best practices in domestic, family and sexual violence. Youโre proactive, creative and flexible in your approach, which will see you thrive in a fast-paced, complex and often high pressure environment. Your strong interpersonal skills help you develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels, and you can supervise, coach and mentor others with empathy.
A tertiary degree (of minimum 3 years duration) in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or relevant field 4+ years minimum trauma specialist counselling experience (preferably telephone counselling) or full-time equivalent experience in specialised sexual assault, domestic and family violence counselling Professional membership of any of the following governing bodies โ ACA (minimum level 3), PACFA (Clinical membership), AASW or AHPRA Demonstrated experience building high performing teams Ability to work in a fast paced & high demand work environment, including working within agreed timeline parameters and to KPIs
