Under the overall supervision of the Resources Management Officer (RMO) and direct supervision of the Administrative & Finance Officer (NAFO); and, in collaboration with relevant units, Finance Assistantโ will be responsible and accountable for supporting the finance functions in Mexico City Office.
- Prepare all types of payments in new ERP-Wave (Travel, office cost, fuel, vehicles, anotherโs) starting from purchase requisition and payment request, verifying that they are duly authorized, and all the supporting documents are attached therewith.ย
- Perform claim verifications against documentation to verify that purchases/services are properly authorized and that the goods have been received or services rendered.
- Keep proper and systematic filling of all posted payments and other accounting documents according to the established standards.
- Request petty cash claims.
- Responsible for attending the reception area and answering all incoming calls; assisting with receiving and sending mail and packages; welcoming guests arriving at the office; supporting the preparation of the meeting room.
- Assist with inventory of stationery, cleaning & coffee supplies.ย
- Perform other related duties as required. Education
- Bachelorโs degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finances, or related fields with one year of relevant professional experience, or
- High School diploma with three years of relevant experience Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database. ย Experience
- Experience in the usage of office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of spreadsheet and data analysis
- Experience in administrative, financial and accounting matters, cash managementย
