ย Context
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Project Associate (Social Inclusion & Integration), the MHPSS Specialist (Social Inclusion & Integration)ย provides individual and group-based MHPSS interventions and community-based psychosocial support to promote the mental well-being and social inclusion of migrants.
1. Individual, Group and Community-Based MHPSS Activities
- Implement Individual MHPSS counselling for migrants.
- Design and facilitate group MHPSS sessions for migrants.
- Implement community-based psychosocial activities to promote social cohesion.
2. Psychoeducation and Awareness
- Organize psychoeducation workshops and awareness campaigns to strengthen resilience.
- Provide technical support to staff on inclusive MHPSS approaches.
3. Monitoring and Evaluation
- Assess the effectiveness of group-based MHPSS interventions.
- Document and report on lessons learned and best practices.
4. Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of group MHPSS activities, ensuring adherence to IOMโs data protection policies. Education
- University degree in Psychology with 3 years of relevant experience; orย
- High school diploma, and professional accreditation with a recognized psychological or mental health association societyย with 5 years of experience. Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database. ย Experience
- Experience in facilitating MHPSS activities in community settings.
- Knowledge of mental health promotion, psychoeducation, and social inclusion frameworks. Skills

- For this position, fluency in English and Hungarian (oral and written) is required.
- Fluency in Ukrainian a distinct advantage. IOMโs official languages are English, French and Spanish.
