ย Context
ย Under the direct supervision of the Senior Project Associate (Social Inclusion & Integration), the Programme Support Assistant (Social Inclusion) will provide administrative, coordination, and technical support for the effective implementation of IOM Hungaryโs social inclusion and integration programmes. The incumbent will assist with data management, stakeholder coordination, donor reporting inputs, and logistical arrangements, ensuring compliance with IOM policies and donor requirements. ย
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of project activities.ย
ย - Retrieve, compile, summarize, analyse, and present information/data on specific project topics.
ย - Monitor budget; verify availability of funds; obtain necessary approval and update budget related information.ย
ย - Act as focal point for administrative coordination of project implementation, involving extensive liaison with diverse organizational units and external parties to initiate requests, obtain necessary clearances, process and follow-up on administrative actions, etc.
ย - Draft status reports, identifying shortfalls in delivery, bring them to the attention of the supervisor and suggest remedial actions.
ย - Draft correspondence on project issues; prepare and update reports, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables, presentation and other forms of documentation.ย
ย - Respond to complex information requests and inquiries; set up and maintain files/records; organize meetings, workshops and training sessions.
ย - Participate in meetings and conferences; assist in coordinating implementation activities withย local authorities, partners, United Nation agencies, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, donors and other stakeholders relevant to the projects.ย
ย - Assist in monitoring work of implementing partners and report non-compliances to the supervisor.
ย - Provides guidance/training to new/junior staff.ย

- School diploma with four years of relevant experience; or,
- Bachelorโs degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience. - Experience in social inclusion, community development, labour market integration, or refugee/migrant support programmes.
- Familiarity with migrant rights, anti-discrimination policies, and social cohesion initiatives.
- Previous experience with data collection, reporting, and database management.
- Experience in liaising with government entities, NGOs, and private sector stakeholders.
- Knowledge of IOM and UN social integration policies is an asset. Skills
