ย Context Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and the direct supervision of the Head of Project Support Unit, the successful candidate will support the Programme Support Unit on project development, donor reporting processes, project proposals and capacity building for all projects of the Country Office (CO).
1.ย ย ย ย Support the Head of Programme Support Unit with the development of concept notes et project proposals in line with IOM and donor requirements. This includes for example research, drafting and review of relevant documents necessary for the preparation of the proposal;
2.ย ย ย ย Review, consolidate, and analyze ย narrative reports on programme implementation, as well as quantitative and qualitative data on indicators, to facilitate the preparation of progress and final donor reports in coordination with the Head of Programme Support Unit and other relevant staff such as the Head of Programme and project managers;
3.ย ย ย ย Support the preparation of periodic and activity-specific reports for donors, the CO, RO(s), or HQ, as may be required.
4.ย ย ย ย Support the M&E Officer in the development, harmonization, proper use, and consistency of reporting tools and processes for Project Managers (PMs) and other relevant staff.ย
5.ย ย ย ย Support and assist in liaising with relevant authorities, United Nations agencies, non-governmental organizations, government counterparts, and other stakeholders for the purpose of project development and reporting/implementation.
6.ย ย ย ย Support the Head of Programme Support Unit in utilizing IOMโs internal systems for reporting and project development purposes in an efficient manner and with respect to internal and donor deadlines.ย
7.ย ย ย ย Prepare , document and monitor quotations, Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Request for Payment (RFPs); for the development of project activities related to PSU in accordance with IOM standards.ย
8.ย ย ย ย Support capacity-building ย and training activities particularly for government officials, local authorities, and civil society organizations involved in the migration field, as well as for IOM staff.
9.ย ย ย ย Keep accurate and pertinent records of all correspondence, project development and reporting files, and administration information, as needed.
10.ย ย ย ย Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Education
University degree in Social Sciences, Political Science, Communication, International Affairs or a related field from an accredited academic institution, with ย four years of relevant professional experience; orย

- For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written). Knowledge or Algerian Derja is desirable.
