Position purpose
The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth operation and effective management of the Bankโs SAP financial systems with a focus on SAP Treasury, SAP Cash and Liquidity Management, and SAP Loans administration. Additionally, it involves implementing new financial requirements and products as they arise from the Bank's business needs.
Key Functions and Responsibilities
Under the guidance and technical supervision of the IT Director and in collaboration with SAP experts, the incumbent is responsible for developing, deploying, and providing solutions that support the Bank's financial products and services, including SAP Treasury & Risk Management, SAP Cash and Liquidity Management, and SAP Loans. The incumbent will assist staff in utilizing the SAP financial ecosystem, will develop new products, configure and implement solutions, and address issues encountered by SAP S/4HANA end-users.
The incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:
1. SAP Treasury & Risk Management
Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP S/4HANA treasury modules including transaction management (e.g., FX transactions, derivatives, securities, and money market transactions). Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimize treasury management workflows. Ensure seamless integration of SAP S/4HANA treasury modules with other enterprise systems, including SAP Market Rates Management, SAP Analytics Cloud, and the SWIFT network. Support the Bankโs hedge management policies and framework, including hedge accounting. Assist in setting parameters for counterparty limits and various limit levels as defined by the Bankโs risk management policies. Develop and maintain robust reporting and analytics solutions to provide actionable insights into treasury operations, including the creation of reports and executive dashboards. Use or develop CDS views to generate business reports. Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and Bank policies while effectively managing risks associated with treasury operations.2. SAP Loans Management
3. SAP Cash and Liquidity Management
Configure, customize and implement the cash and liquidity functions within SAP S/4HANA. Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts. Assist in the monitoring of daily cash positions and execute necessary transactions. Configure, customize, and implement best practices for cash management, including cash pooling, in-house banking. Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements and financial transactions. Analyze and report on cash flow variances, providing insights and recommendations for improvements. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures related to cash and liquidity management. Utilize SAP S/4HANA functionalities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cash management processes. Assist in preparing reports on cash and liquidity management.4. Other SAP-related functions
Provide the necessary roles and authorization for SAP S/4HANA end users for Treasury, Loans, Cash and Liquidity Risk Management (Fiori applications, tiles, and transactions). Explore, plan, and implement SAP Fiori applications (from SAP Fiori Apps Reference Library or other sources) to leverage SAP features and gain easy access to information. Assist with the administration of the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem. Follow, administer and implement Change Management procedures to ensure that system modifications, enhancements, and configurations related to Treasury, Loans, Cash and Liquidity Risk Management are properly planned, tested, and deployed without disrupting financial processes (including Change Request & Approval Process, Transport Management (STMS), UATs, etc.). Responsible for handling, troubleshooting and ticketing technical and functional user queries, monitoring system operations, and escalating issues to higher support levels when needed. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with the implemented solutions. Provide training and support to end-users in utilizing the SAP S/4HANA Loans, Treasury, Cash and Liquidity Management functionalities. Develop comprehensive documentation, such as process flow diagrams, blueprints, user guides, and configuration manuals.Competencies:

First-level University degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or related field. Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA financials, including Treasury, Loans, Cash and Liquidity Management. Expertise in SAP S/4HANA roles, authorizations. Comprehensive knowledge in SAP FI, Costing, including Profitability Analysis, New General Ledger, and Fund Management. Knowledge in SAP S/4HANA ABAP Programming and BTP integration. Knowledge of SAP Fiori and of SAP BTP. Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA in SAP Treasury, Loans (CML), and Cash and Liquidity management. Ability to integrate SAP S/4HANA with other systems and modules. Excellent skills in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks. This includes understanding market, credit, and liquidity risks. Very good understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Minimum 8 years of working experience in a similar position supporting a companyโs SAP S/4HANA Treasury, Loans, and Cash and Liquidity Management.
Proven experience working with and implementing, configuring, integrating, and customizing projects in SAP S/4HANA Treasury, Loans, and Cash and Liquidity Management. Hands-on experience in SAP Treasury, Loans, Cash Management and Liquidity Management within an SAP S/4HANA environment. Proven work with SAP core Treasury module (Money Market and Loans, Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate Swap, Reporting and Risk Management). Experience with SAP implementations in Treasury, Loans, and Cash Management.Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Masterโs degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or related field. Certification in SAP Treasury products, FI, TRM, CML, Cash Management. Understanding of Project Management concepts. Knowledge of multi-banking connectivity in SAP with SWIFT. Financial analysis tools within SAP. Self-starter, willing to learn new technologies. Experience with delivering projects in SAP TRM, CML, Cash and Liquidity Management.
