This is a full time position at grade 5/6 for which the EIB offers a permanent contract.

Purpose

Operating Network
You will report directly to the Head of Unit and will work in close contact with the unitโs Platform Leads and with the other IT units.
The Unit focuses on providing and managing integration services, providing integration platforms that play a crucial role in connecting diverse applications, systems, and data sources within an organization to ensure seamless communication and data flow.
Accountabilities
Architect, design, and implement CI/CD pipelines Implement Infrastructure as Code practices to automate the provisioning and configuration of development, testing, and production environments. Leverage tools like Terraform or Ansible to ensure consistency across environments.Design and implement automation of cloud-native services (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, API Gateway) to reduce operational complexity and enhance system resilience.Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. Implement automated deployment processes to deliver software releases consistently and reliably. Continuously optimize and enhance CI/CD processes to improve build and deployment efficiency. Implement and manage automated security testing tools and processes to seamlessly integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline and ensure continuous compliance.Promote a security-conscious culture by providing training and awareness programs. Review analysis and proposed technical solutions prepared by more junior staff for consistency with business and functional requirements and IT plans in order to assess technical and business feasibility.Qualifications
University degree (minimum an equivalent to a Bachelor) preferably in computer science or related disciplines. Minimum 5 years of experience in integration automation, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation, with strong background in software development including the supervision of technical teams.Experience with cloud services and platforms, such as AWS and/or Azure. Understanding of cloud security best practices and securing applications and data in cloud.Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, CircleCI, or others.Experience in integration concepts, such as API, event streaming, SOA and ESB would be a nice to have.Experience with automation tools such as Maven, Gradle, npm, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef would be a nice to have.Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles, using tools like Terraform.Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes as nice to have.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash as nice to have.Excellent knowledge of English and/or French (**), with a good command of the other. (Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage).Competencies
