The EIB, the European Union's bank, is seeking to recruit for its Group Corporate Services Directorate โ Group Digital Office (GCS-GDO), Cybersecurity Division (CD), IT Security Unit (SEC) at its headquarters in Luxembourg a (Senior) Cloud Security Engineer*.

You will report to the Head of the IT Security Unit.
Accountabilities
Collaborate with IT security, architects, and cloud experts in developing secure cloud and hybrid environments, preparing cutting-edge security architectures Utilize top tools like AWS Shield and Azure Firewall, becoming a cloud security expert by protecting our environments and guiding third-party security integrations Define and implement security standards in partnership with Cloud Operations and Cloud Center of Excellence teams, ensuring their effective application across our cloud environments Create detailed documentation and diagrams for security architectures and operational processes, developing comprehensive security documentation Provide cybersecurity solutions to support our engineering teams, enhancing the security of EIBG's IT environment Align with business needs and risk appetite while building strong business relationships and proposing applicable industry developments Integrate IT security controls into our Risk Management and Crisis Management processes, leading in information security governance Advise on cybersecurity management, guiding our cybersecurity strategy to align with organizational goals and risk tolerance Take the lead in monitoring and responding to security incidents in our cloud environments, ensuring swift detection and response Assist in organizing response and recovery during incidents as part of our incident response efforts, ensuring business continuityQualifications
University degree (minimum an equivalent to a Bachelor), preferably in relation to risk management, IT or information management Minimum 5 years relevant experience with proven track record of success in IT security implementation, or IT security operations Experience in IT cloud security operations with public cloud provides preferably AWS or Azure Experience in running major security-related projects Knowledge of ISO/IEC27000 standard series Knowledge of security architecture, including cloud environments, endpoint protection, operating systems, strong authentication solutions, web security Experience in running major security-related projects Knowledge sharing skills, including presentations and conducting workshops, drafting of documentation Excellent knowledge of English and/or French (*), with a good command of the other. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.Competencies

(*) Unless stated explicitly as a required qualification, a good command of French is not a pre-requisite for hire. As both English and French are however official working languages of the EIB, proficiency in both languages is a pre-requisite for your future career development. Any language clause in your contract must be fulfilled in order for you to be eligible for a promotion (either via the annual appraisal cycle or via an internal selection process). Proficiency is understood to mean the attainment of level 5 of the Inter Institutional language courses, corresponding to B1.2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).
