Where you come in:

In this full-time, permanent role based in Northern Victoria, youโ€™ll lead teams working in various programs across the region โ€“ primarily in Greater Shepparton. Our programs in these regions include supported playgroups, a youth justice service, a kindergarten and associated school readiness program, HIPPY and the place based collective impact program Connected Beginnings. Reporting to our Director Southern States, youโ€™ll be a key member of our Southern States leadership Team.

You will make an impact by:

Leading teams across a variety of child, youth and family focused programs Driving community engagement and partnerships by effectively engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government, partner and sector agencies and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) to build partnerships Leading business development across the region Developing existing programs and evaluating outcomes for continuous improvement Exploring new opportunities to support the strategic plan

Your empathy and highly developed interpersonal skills give you a flair for engaging with stakeholders across diverse backgrounds and experiences.

This role requires:

Proven experience in collaborating with community to achieve outcomes for children and families, including with ACCOs Proven experience with program management, delivery and evaluation Experience working with staff and/or clients from diverse backgrounds Demonstrated experience leading a high performing team Knowledge of childrenโ€™s rights and child centred program development Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, or significant equivalent experience Strong partnership and business development skills gained through extensive working relationships with government or community stakeholders Experience working in regional areas, with willingness to travel
