General Qualifications ย
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Communication and Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field, equivalent education, or relevant professional experience. Very good knowledge of Systems Engineering applied to CIS and large-scale system-of-systems development ย Knowledge of emerging technologies of interest to future C2 and Surveillance systems, such as advanced encryption technologies, cybersecurity/threats, advanced automation, cloud computing and service models, and distributed data storage and processing. Broad knowledge and understanding of military Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems in air, land and maritime domains. Knowledge of architecture frameworks and CIS architectures. Good written and oral communication skills, including the writing of clear and concise reports. Ability to present persuasively and negotiate effectively to achieve desired outcomes. Ability to manage time and work effectively under pressure while producing quality products under short notice deadlines. Ability to cooperate with international military and civilian staff at various levels of seniority. Sound digital literacy with experience in using office automation systems and software applications, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). ย Specific Qualifications
Minimum five yearsโ experience in a broad range of CIS disciplines, regulations and practices, including roles within NATO and/or National CIS agencies or organisations. Minimum five yearsโ experience in computer networking, including associated infrastructure, network devices and software, network security and resilience, network configuration, wireless networks, communication protocols, network services. A good understanding and experience in working with military LOS and BLOS communication systems, Tactical Data Links, SATCOM and fixed networks, including associated terminals/equipment and standards. Specific hands-on experience in the design, development and deployment of complex military CIS solutions supporting (or as part of) C4ISR capabilities.ย ย LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS
NATO's official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English, while working knowledge of French is desirable. ย WHAT DO WE OFFER?

Basic monthly salary: EURย 7 599,21 to 9365,21 tax free.
