Work LocationUNIC Asunciรณn Expected duration2 or 6 Months Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder the guidance of the NIO of UNIC Asuncion, the daily responsibilities will depend on the individualโs background. Duties may include, but are not limited to: ^ Provide general office support; respond to complex information requests and inquiries of UNIC Asuncion; draft media and other communication documents. ^ Assist UNIC Asuncion in the production and delivery of information communications products and services; ^ Assist in the updates and further development of internal databases; to support the update UNIC Asuncion's web site and social media accounts by drafting and adapting content; ^ Assist in the researching and compiling of basic information for use in the preparation and production of communications products/services about the UN. ^ Assist with UNIC Asuncion photographic material; by producing digital imaging; write captions for UN photos, when required. ^ Assist in the production and editing of UNIC Asuncion video/film projects, radio program or website projects; produce scripts, cue cards, etc., select and catalogue sound and visual materials for inclusion in UN productions. ^ Assist in development and final production of social media products, as well as enrich potential online initiatives to audiences to raise awareness of the UN work. ^ Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications/special skillsThe basic education required is HS Diploma. Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelorโs degree or equivalent). Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required. Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Masterโs or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelorโs, Masterโs or PH.D.
