The Client Services Unit of the HR department (HRDAI CS) is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Projects Analyst (PA) with strong generic HR skills and good quantitative and analytical skills. The successful candidate should have the proven ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment. The PA will work as part of a team of other PAs to provide a wide range of support to ICDโs HR Business Partner (HRBP) and Strategic HR Partner (SHRP). The PA will support the implementation of HR initiatives as well as data gathering and analysis of relevant to assess departmental workforce, staffing and the work environment.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Provide analytical support on HR metrics to include data and information support on HR metrics (Diversity & Inclusion (D&I), staffing trends, hiring, performance management completion rates, etc.)
- Provide input into the design and support implementation of ICD HR initiatives aimed at enhancing an open and inclusive environment in the department.
- Support day-to-day recruitment efforts, including documentation tracking, Workday (WD) entries, and multiple stakeholder follow ups.
- Support day-to-day job change transactions, including track contractualsโ end dates and perform contractual extensions.
- Prepare supporting materials for key HR processes, including Annual Talent Management Exercise (ATME), recruitment, and talent reviews.
- Perform WD transactions for Long-term Experts (LTXs), Visiting Scholars (VSs), and non-advertised mid/long-term contractuals once the specifications have been completed by departments.
- Provide basic guidance and support to staff and managers on WD-related matters.
- Support the OM in executing departmental tasks, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
GRADE A04
A combination of training and experience equivalent to completion of a secondary school education, supplemented by a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, is required.
GRADE A05
A combination of training and experience equivalent to completion of a secondary school education, supplemented by a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience, or equivalent, is required. Alternatively, a minimum of two (2) years of experience in HR work, or related field, at Grade A04, or equivalent, is required.
GRADE A06
Educational development, typically acquired by the completion of a university degree, or equivalent, in Human Resources or related field, is required. Alternatively, a minimum of two (2) years of experience in HR work, or related field, at Grade A05, or equivalent, is required.
Ideal candidates will hold a university degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent, and have at least two years of experience in HR work. Specific requirements include:
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including basic functions and formulas. Proficiency in HR data management, organization, and visualization.
- Proficiency in the use of analytical, statistical software packages.
- Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment through diligent organization and planning skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn, apply, and navigate new technology.
- General understanding of HR concepts and programs.
- Ability to build relationships by listening to, understanding, and addressing the needs of clients, supervisors, and colleagues.
- Demonstration of a good understanding of HR operations and objectives and the relationship of HR programs to HR systems.
In addition, the following competencies are critical to the position:
- Proven ability to manage large and complex databases and develop summary analysis, including summary tables and charts, and sound analytical and problem-solving skills including a knowledge of statistical applications and techniques.
- Sound organizational and data management skills, and ability to handle several responsibilities and work under tight time constraints.
- Ability to work without direct supervision, paying close attention to detail and bearing independent responsibility for data accuracy.
- Proven experience in dealing with all levels of staff in responding to a wide range of inquiries.
- Ability to use tact, discretion, and sound judgment when dealing with clients and in handling confidential information.
