Under the overall supervision of Project Coordinator in Florianopolis, and in close coordination with the Senior Programme Integration Manager, the Project Clerk will support the activities at the national level. The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the following:

Core Functions / Responsibilities
1. Provide assistance and support to the coordination of work with government, civil society partners, private sector entities and academic institution to facilitate the development, implementation monitoring and evaluation of assigned projects;
2. Administrative support - Identify and track follow-up actions; support travel, data collection and procurement actions as requested;
3. Provide administrative support to meetings, workshops, seminars and conferences with governments, private sector, civil society and migrants;
4. Support the developing and dissemination of institutional and informational materials for refugees and migrants, including support with translation and revision of materials;
5. Perform other work-related duties, as required.
Education
- High school diploma, with at least 3 (three) years of relevant work experience; or,
- Academic BA in International Relations, Social Sciences, Social Services, Economics, or a related field from an accredited academic institution, with at least 1 (one) year of relevant work experience; ย Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database. ย Experience
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Experience working within a team of colleagues from diverse cultures and professional backgrounds
- Previous experience in an operations unit at an international organization is an advantage; Languages
- For this position, fluency in English and Portuguese (oral and written) are required.
- Working Knowledge in Spanish will be considered a distinct advantage. IOMโs official languages are English, French and Spanish.
